Protecting a World in Motion

Lytx builds fleet safety technology that keeps drivers safe on the road. We built the brand around the belief that made that mission matter — turning one sentence from the CEO into a brand platform, a 50-page brand book, an internal film, and a national campaign. Here's how one belief became a whole brand.
The Challenge
In an early conversation with Lytx's CEO, he said something remarkable.
"At Lytx, we believe every journey should end with a safe return."
Our job, from that moment forward, was to make sure that people could hear what he already knew.
As the company scaled rapidly — growing its teams, expanding its product, and evolving its market position — something valuable was at risk of getting lost in the momentum: the culture that had made the company worth scaling in the first place.
Lytx had built a real set of values, but it had never been documented in one place. Externally, the company was being understood primarily as a technology vendor. Internally, teams across the world were telling different versions of the same story.
The brief was to find the thread that connected all of it, and make it visible, inside the organization and out.

The Work
Finding the platform
We began by listening. Market research, competitor analysis, and conversations with people across the organization helped us map where Lytx stood and where it could go. But the most important insight came from the CEO's own words, which we kept returning to throughout the engagement.
From that belief, we developed the brand platform: Protecting a World in Motion. It captured both the company's mission and its global scale — and it gave every subsequent piece of work a clear north star.
Opening the window
Inside the existing Lytx logo, almost hidden in plain sight, was a small light blue rhombus. We recognized it as something more than a design element. Scaled up, it became a window. A frame through which you could see drivers, roads, technology, the people whose journeys Lytx protects. We built the visual identity around this idea: the rhombus as a portal into different worlds, different use cases, different moments where safety becomes personal.
The Brand Book
To ensure the platform could live beyond a single campaign, we created a 50-page brand book. It was part strategic document, part cultural manifesto. It was designed to capture the richness of a culture that had been lived but never written down, and give teams worldwide something to orient around as the company continued to grow. A document to build from.

The Internal Documentary
Before a brand can speak to the world, it has to speak to the people inside it. We produced a fifteen-minute internal brand documentary that brought the Lytx story to life for employees, featuring executives, the engineers who built the technology, and voices from across the organization.
One moment stayed with us. A customer support technician described the day he used the Lytx system to identify that a fleet driver was in danger, and made the call that brought that driver home safely. It was the CEO's belief made real, on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon.
The External Campaign
We then turned outward. Working with the belief that had anchored the whole engagement, we created a cinematic commercial that put the human stakes of fleet safety at the center.
The visual identity, the photography direction, and the film all asked the same question: what does it look like when technology exists to serve people rather than the other way around?
Lytx knew what it stood for. Our job was to make that visible.
