Celebrating a Legend: Ernest Ranglin Legacy Project

Belmondo partnered with Jamaican guitar icon Ernest Ranglin and his management team to bring his story and music to a new generation.
We developed an integrated marketing plan combining organic social content, paid campaigns, and targeted PR—launching a Kickstarter campaign that was featured on the platform’s front page and fully funded within 30 days.
Our marketing efforts combined an online social media push with out-of-home advertising for a fundraising concert at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California.

Working closely with Ranglin’s team, we helped conceptualize and design exclusive offerings for fans, including a 5-disc vinyl boxed set, 3-volume CD anthology, limited-edition pirate radio cassette, and a suite of collectible merchandise celebrating his six-decade career.

Building on this success, we’ve entered pre-production on Below the Bassline, a new feature documentary exploring Ranglin’s life, music, and enduring global influence—set for release in early 2027.
